Martin county alliance

The Martin County Alliance for Economic Growth aims to serve businesses and residents of Martin County, Indiana with the mission to promote, encourage, and assist in the growth and development of our communities.

Growing and attracting new business

The Martin County Alliance strives to grow current businesses, attract new companies to our community, and foster relationships with business owners to provide resources.

Workforce development

Growing our economy is an important role of the Martin County Alliance, and we aim to bring new businesses to our communities as well as recruit additional workforce to fill new and existing job opportunities.

QUALITY OF PLACE

Providing residents with safe, welcoming communities that include ample amenities and opportunities for recreation is also part of our economic development duty. Downtowns are the backbone of these communities, and the Alliance is dedicated to helping bring life and business to its cities and towns.

HEAR FROM OUR COMMUNITY

SAMANTHA ALVAREZ

Owner of Loogootee Eye Center

“Loogootee is a wonderful place to live and work. This small town is welcoming, friendly, and has a strong sense of community and loyalty to local businesses. The lower costs of living help keep expenses down and allow for growth and expansion. We also have wonderful business resources available – The Alliance and Chamber of Commerce provide information, networking opportunities and financial assistance.”

Steven burch

Owner of Harvest Health Rehab

“We decided to start Harvest Health & Rehab in Martin County because we saw a need in our hometown community that we felt we could fulfill. We wanted to provide convenient access to necessary healthcare that would improve the overall health of the community. We feel we have been successful in that goal by employing some of the best therapists in the area to care for our patients.”
